Years a Quilter:     25

What was the inspiration to start quilting? I always appreciated homemade items.  I saw quilts for sale for $50  but could not find a pattern or colors I would like.  That’s when I thought “I could make one” not realizing it would cost me more than $50 dollars after purchasing all the tools and fabrics.

Year joined the Las Vegas Quilters Guild:      2024

What is the most memorable (or favorite) quilt you crafted? The 365 Challenge By Kathryn Kerr from FB. It was making daily block for a whole year. 

Any tip you would like to share with a novice quilter? Be patient with yourself.  We were all beginners before

What do you enjoy most about the LVQG? People have different interests and skills and talents.

Personal insight you would like to share: My hobby at this stage of my life is enjoying my little grandkids.  It’s the main reason we moved to Las Vegas from NC.
